I Want To Be Saved
MySpace Friend asks: How did you become saved? I always have wanted to be saved, but there’s this thing that I’ve been doing and its hard me to stop.
Response: Well..I have been saved for about 13 years, but I was not surrendered to the Lord. When I realized that my life was a mess and that I was on the wrong path, I knew that I needed a Savior. I asked Jesus to be my Savior, but I did not start really having a relationship with Him until I was sentenced to prison almost 12 years ago. I started reading the bible alot, and I realized that God had good plans for me and that I could be a new and different person with His help and Holy Spirit. As for you wanting to be saved…All you have to do is believe, repent, and confess Jesus and you will be saved.
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (Romans 10:9-10, 1 John 1:9)
As for whatever is keeping you from accepting Jesus–you will find that as you learn to know God more by reading His Word, praying, and going to church, you will learn to love Him. Loving Him will make you want to obey Him. Plus He gives you the power to obey Him, and the way out of temptation when we feel like we just can’t resist it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) Don’t let anything stop you from coming to Jesus. One day He will return for His people to take them away and save them from the judgement that is going to come upon this wicked and sinful world. You don’t want to be left behind…trust me…

I am so sorry that you feel all alone. I’m glad that you found our site. We are here to encourage and assure you that you are not alone in your troubles, feelings, concerns, and problems. God is with you and it is a times like this where you just feel like you can’t any more that He carries you. One day you will look back and you will see that it was truly Him that brought you through.

Life is NOT over for you sister! I bind that spirit of depression and defeat right now in the name of Jesus. I say be strong! Put your hope in God! Let Him have everything..lay it all down at His feet. Humble yourself and seek His face and I promise…I PROMISE He will reward you. You will find Him when you seek Him with all of your heart. This is not the end for you. This is the beginning of something new sister. Forget the former things of old. You are going to see a new thing come to pass in your life when you put Jesus (The Word of God) first in your life. The narrow road of following Christ is never easy but it is the road that leads to life. It is the road that bears eternal fruit. It is the road to living a life free from slavery to sin and demonic oppression. You will live life more abundantly here on this earth if you will surrender your will and accept God’s will for your life.

One of my favorite scriptures is Isaiah 40:31
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. It is time to put all of your trust in the Lord and seek His face like never before. He promised us that in those days when we pray, He WILL listen. When we look for Him wholeheartedly we will find Him. He sees our tears and He hears our cries. Don’t every let the enemy of our soul, satan or his demon spirits tell you that life is over for you. No! If you will surrender your life and will over to Jesus and allow Him to be Lord of your life, all of your life, you will a have new life in Him.
Believe it or not you are at a great place right now. Although you feel like you are in the wilderness sometimes that is where we truly experience God’s presence. So don’t lose heart. Cry out to God now like never before and I promise that IF you will listen to Him and His servants you will be changed for ever.
Go through our site there are many great Christian living articles that are great tools for building your faith. Read some of the Women of WeUsed2bu’s testimony and be encouraged knowing that our God is no respecter of persons. Just like He transformed some of us from tragic messes He can do the same for you. He love s you and has been waiting for you to come home, repents, believe, confess Christ Jesus and be saved for all eternity.

Thank you for that i needed it im goin through alot right now and i feel like i have anyone to talk too it seems as though everyone is against me and it hurts so bad im crying as im typing this i feel like life is over for me and i really just need some encouragement.
