I Have A MAJOR Crush

Submitted by admin on December 2, 2008 – 1:51 amNo Comment

Ziegfeld TheatreMySpace Email…

i am 19 year old who has a major CRUSH on robert pattinson the guy who plays edward in the movie i kno its not that good to like someone that much that you have never met but u only hear things about only my physical/ mental set has a tiny infatuation with him and i know i will prolly never meet him it s just i really like him i kno its not normal …what should i do!!!!

Response…

It’s totally normal to have a crush on someone, especially a celebrity. The media tends to make celebrities seem like they’re more than human, angel-like if you will. Although the infatuation will eventually pass in time, please make sure it doesn’t turn into idolizing.

Infatuation: to inspire or possess with a foolish or unreasoning passion, as of love
Idolizing: to regard with blind adoration, devotion, etc

There’s a fine line between the two, so please make sure you keep yourself grounded in your crush.

Luke 4:8
It is Jehovah your God you must worship, Therefore it is not proper to worship any man.

To worship and to idolize man is unacceptable… the 1st Commandment of the Lord’s Law is ‘Thou shalt have no other gods before me.’(Exodus 20:3)

With Love,

Saved By Faith
