Dear June Quest:
I apologize if this article has offended you in any way, and as a Christian man, I pray that you will forgive me if I've upset you. I want to clarify that the purpose of this article was to expose the traditional idealogy of how guys view purity. The fact is God doesn't believe in or accept double standards, so it is equally as important for men to remain pure as well as women. The Word of God teaches that sexually immorality and impurity doesn't play favorites; please remember that the Apostle Paul was speaking to Timothy, a male, when he wrote the scripture I referenced above (1 Timothy 4:12). I want to re-emphasize that PURITY IS IMPORTANT FOR BOTH MALES AND FEMALES; according to God's standards, we all sin and fall short of glory. I hope that this clarifies my position of the subject discussed. I thank you for your comment and for visiting WeUsed2BU! God Bless you and have a great week!

"That wild, crazy party girl for most guys is good for only one thing, and we all know what that is. When a man is truly looking to love and respect a woman, we are looking for a trustworthy, kind hearted, honest woman.">

"don’t be another locker room conversation piece or another name in the little black book."

I find it interesting that this entry focuses almost exclusively on how important female virginity is, while winking at male sexual experience. The writer admits that non-virgin girls are only valuable for sex, hinting that it is acceptable for guys to view girls solely as sexual objects. In other words, it's ok, maybe even cool, for guys to have "little black books"--but it's a serious offense against God for a girl to end up in this same book.

Once again, a woman's value is determined solely by her body, while male "purity" is only a show of semantics.
