September Giveaway Contest!

Submitted by admin on September 1, 2009 – 1:32 pm4 Comments

do-you-think-im-beautiful-image1This month’s giveaway comes recommended by Trophy of Grace as a must read,  Do You Think I’m Beautiful? by Angela Thomas.

Trophy of Grace says,

“This book has encouraged and empowered me. I will not let fear and doubt fill me with insecurities any more. I am determined now more than ever to step out in faith and do what God has called for me to do, knowing that I am dancing with the Lover of My Soul.”  Read more of her review now.

Here is an excerpt from the book:

If there is a question attached to the soul of a woman, maybe it’s “Do you think I’m beautiful?” When God answers from the depth of His great love, it makes some of us feel like the wallflower who is asked to dance. But we can become distracted from His invitation because of the other lovers, whispers of unbelief, noise and clutter, and because we are sometimes the prodigal, sometimes the elder brother. To return to the music and strong embrace of God requires a desperate and pursing heart. And when a woman chooses to remain in His arms of devotion, God gives the only hope we have: His perfect love, and a beautiful crown. God is enthralled by the beauty of a woman and calls her His beloved. He wildly pursues her heart with romance and intimacy to make her His beautiful bride.

If you would like to enter this month’s contest, please tell us what your idea of a beautiful woman is. Please leave your comment below. The winner will be selected from all entries at the end of the month.

That’s awesome Hannah! I pray that the Lord honors your desires to be used by Him. Prepare yourself daily by reading and meditating on His Word day and night that way you will be equipped to teach others to follow Christ Jesus. Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and you purity. (1 Timothy 4:11-12)

All you have to be entered into this month’s contest is tell us what your idea of a beautiful woman is. The winner will be selected from all entries at the end of the month.

My idea of a beautiful woman first of all is the one who fear’s God… Just like in Proverbs 30: 31 say, ..Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. And then this woman has to also have confidence in herself knowing that she is fearfully and wonderfully made from the image of God… Please enter me in the contest :-)
