news-graphics-2007-_639316aWhat should I do if I am in a relationship with a man and got a baby bye him and its in trouble and we break up?

Trophy of Grace replies…

I want to be sure I understand your question correctly you.. You’re saying that your relationship with the father of your child is in trouble and you might break up. What happens if you break up?

The first thing that comes to my mind is Proverbs 3:5-6 which says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (NLT)

These are times where you really need to be seeking God’s face. It is a major decision to break off this relationship with the father of your child. You need to be sure that you seeking God’s will in this situation, not your own. He always knows what’s best for us. You can draw close to Him through prayer and reading His Word. His Word will give you all the direction and confirmation you need to make the right decision.

If you do end up breaking up then you must always remember that you are breaking up with each other, not the child. He should still be able to have relationship with his baby, unless of course he would be a danger to the child. Many women today think that they can easily dispose of their husbands or father of their children and raise the children just fine on their own. The truth is that every child needs a father as much as they need their mother. Each role plays a vital part in the child’s life.

Forgive him for his sins and offenses against you. Allow the Lord to deal with him in His own way and in His timing. You focus on drawing close to the Lord and you will see that your direction and purpose in this world will become so much clearer.

I will be praying for you sister.

Sincerely,

Trophy of Grace
