Dear sister,

I am struggling with feelings of unworthiness and rejection too much in me. I was a single child with lots of rejected affairs in my teenage. Now i am married with two children. But the moment anyone doesn’t talk to me or criticize me i go back to the chain of negativity.you always recommend one to one counselling in the church. Here in my country it is not that easy and so far all the counselling i have taken i once again fall back in the trap.

please teach me to how to get closer to the lord to overcome all these inferiorty complexes. I feel my life is incomplete . Lord is not blessing me completely . i am the only believer in the house.

Teach me how to fast and how to pray.Does fasting means to not to have lunch. How long should the fasting be. I am beliver but sinning again due to my weakness and doubting god’s power. I have been praying for a boy child for so many years as i have two girls. But my husband is not showing any interest as he is afraid to raise a third child. My desire is so strong but i am not able to get pregnant. sorry too manay things troubling me.

The first Scripture that came to my mind when I read your comment sister is 2 Peter 1:3 “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this BY COMING TO KNOW HIM, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. “ (NLT)

All the answers that you are looking for can be found in His Word (the bible). You see, God has ALL the solutions to our problems. The main reason we will advise some of our readers to seek one on one counsel is because it is not easy to address all the issues that a person may need to discuss in just one simple email. In some situations a person may need face to face counsel. Then there are others who may have a specific problem or situation that they are looking for direction on. Some just need a word of encouragement and that is what we are here for.

We always bring you ladies back to the Word of God because quite frankly what we say really doesn’t matter. What matters is what our Lord, the Word of God, has to say about your situation. My sister the bible is an instruction manual for life written by our Creator. The entire bible is divinely inspired. It is written by the Holy Spirit, the men were just His conduits. The Scriptures are useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work. You have everything you need in your bible. That is where you have to start running to so that you can learn how to manage your life properly. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Yes my sister. I have overcome by the blood of the Lamb, but the fight is not over for me. I have to choose DAILY to get up and fight the good fight of faith. I have to choose DAILY to walk by faith and not by sight. I have to choose DAILY to believe God’s Word above what I see, above my circumstances. I am overcoming DAILY because I study the Word of God continually. It is my sword! My faith is my shield! I know who I am in Christ Jesus because I have spent quality time with Him by abiding in His Word. That is the secret to living life more abundantly. That is the secret to success. That is the secret to freedom from worry, anxiety, and confusion. The Word directs our steps. You just have to allow it to light up your path.

My sister..I truly believe you just need to stop and take breathe..Exhale and say, “Ok Lord..I can’t carry all of this anymore. I don’t want to worry or fret about life’s problems. Teach me to trust You. Teach me to trust Your Word.” Then be determined to seek God like never before. I promise that you WILL find Him when you look for Him wholeheartedly.
