October’s Giveaway Contest Winner!

Submitted by admin on November 9, 2009 – 11:00 amNo Comment

bigstockphoto_winner_3639368Congratulations to Lloyd, our giveaway contest winner for October.

Here’s his advice on what makes a godly marriage work.

“Marriage is built on multiple building blocks. An issue with a single block can cause the whole foundation of marriage to crumble. An important building block of marriage is communication. I can visualize the guys rolling their eyes right about now. Let’s face it. Your spouse is suppose to be your best friend. If you can’t talk to your best friend, I’d hate to see how you treat your other friends. Let’s say you get in a heated discussion and all of a sudden your partner shuts down. It’s important to understand why they shut down. Give them time though. Some people are not quick to understand or verbalize what they’re feeling. But this isn’t a free pass to guys thinking it’s over. It’s only over when the two of you come to an agreed upon middle ground. Take time to pray about it if needed.”

Thanks Lloyd that was excellent advice!!
