bigstockphoto_mother_2809769Don’t take everything that has happened in your life as rejection. As much as it hurts so much, look at it as a blessing. There is a reason why those people were not put in your life. There is a reason why you were not in the popular crowd. There is a reason why those boys were not meant to be part of your life for long. You do not realize the type of suffering that God was protecting from you. I’m 31 years old and have been through so many tough times for my age. I was in the popular crowd. I had so many friends (so I thought). I did a lot of stupid things by influence of others. It was cool to do things that everyone knows was wrong. I made a lot of bad decisions which effected me in many ways. My mother died when I was 15 years old. That just really turned my life upside down. I ended up getting pregnant at the age of 17 years old. Actually, now that I think about it many of my friends were pregnant. And to top everything off, I had to have open heart surgery a little over a year ago.I look back at my life and sometimes wish I would have been that quiet kid. I think, maybe things would have been different. Maybe, I would have completed high school. Gone to college. But, then I stop myself and I think. What would my life be now if all these things would not have happened to me. As much hurt and pain I went through, I see now 31 years later, that God put all those challenges in my life for a purpose. I was never alone even though I felt that way. God was always there and never left me. I am a better person now and have more Faith like I never had before. I have learned, his ways are not our ways. Not in the least. I now surround myself around positive people, positive influence that will lift me up rather than put me down. If I start to get discouraged, I throw on some good Christian beats. (music really keeps me going) I not only have God on my side, but I have an awesome support of friends from church and a wonderful family. You are not alone. Just by you reaching out, know you will have an army of wonderful Christian sisters praying for you. Keep your Faith and don’t give up no matter how hard it gets.

I would like to share a verse with you that helps me get through my days. Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Sincerely,

Vicky

Maritza
