Any Good Scriptures You Can Recommend?
Anonymous replies to “Now I Realize I Am Not Alone”..
I can relate to your situation…think other girls can too. A few of my friends and i have gone through similar situations. as girls we like to over-reason and analyse the past and keep hoping/holding onto something which is so bad coz we shouldn’t - but we still do and it blows everything out of proportion (way bigger than the actual issue). we keep praying and trying to give it to god! it takes a long time to totally move on…we still have to deal with the thoughts today. there are moments when we still feel bitter and angry. it’s a constant battle between spirit vs flesh. sometimes jealousy erupts when we see guys with other girls. we just want to love god with our whole hearts and not having that bad feeling/hurt in us sometimes =(.
Trophy of grace any other good scriptures you recommend or ways to help girls in situations or anything really? it can be so hard and takes so long to heal! maybe we’re impatient? why don’t the thoughts go away - he is the one or following desires?

I am not sure I completely understand your question but no matter what our situation is we have trust that our Lord is working everything out for our good because He has a divine plan for our lives that is for our good, not to harm us. (Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Let us always remember that:
* Our Lord never leaves us or forsakes us. He never abandons us. (Hebrews 13:5)
* Nothing can separate us from His love. (Romans 8:38-39)
* He is faithful to His promises to care for us. So we should not worry about ANYTHING, but instead we should cast all of our cares on Him. (1 Corinthians 1:9, Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7)
* We need to draw close to Him through prayer and reading the Word not only in our tough times but in seasons of rest and peace. Reading the Word will bring us comfort, wisdom, revelation, direction, and confirmation. It guides us and leads us through every situation and in our daily lives. (James 4:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105)
* It is not enough to just know the Word, we must do what it says. Meditate on it day and night so that we will remember what He wants us to do. His Word teaches and equips for the good works that He has planned for us. (james 1:22, Joshua 1:8, Ephesians 2:10)
* We learn to take every thought captive that does not line up with His Word. Don’t think or meditate on things that aren’t true. Think on what His Word says about whatever it is that we are going through. (2 Corinthians 10:5, Philippians 4:8)
* Live to please God, not man. Desire His will more than our own and we will see that it will become our hearts desires. (Galatians 1:10)
For me the Word of God is my everything. It never fails me. It always encourages me and gives me hope to keep pressing on. It has given me much wisdom and guidance.
I share with everyone that it is the Word that truly transformed my life. It is His Word that has become my Rock and my Fortress.
My advice is clear. Get into the Word of God and allow it to get into you. It is the secret to success, peace, and freedom. It sets captives free. But to those who do not know it well..they are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
