Hi Beloved I’m back ! hehe !
Thanks very much for the last posting.
Well recently I’ve learned how to be judgemental over the past couple of months. Do you have any tips on how to slowly grow out of the habbit ?

I’ve also felt shamed with my past sins and guilty but then that shame grew into being shamed about the Lord, I don’t know how.

Also I’ve developed a fear towards God. I’m very scared of judgement day , even a thought about it scares me andĀ I move very far away from God. I admit I have a stubborn side to me, I’m the type where if God tries to teach me a new lesson I move away cause I’m scared of the pain and I do it over and over again. The thing is I want to be serious this time, but i know that if I go back to God again I’ll end up walking off and doing my own thing instead of doing his. It’s pretty much wisdom vs knowledge and wisdom is one of my biggest weaknesses.

Hope all is well . Take care god bless

Dear Sister,

Proverbs 21:30 says, ā€œThere is no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the Lord.ā€ It’s not so much wisdom vs. knowledge in your case, but more like worldly wisdom vs. Godly wisdom. God’s wisdom brings life, while the ā€œwisdomā€ of the world brings death. You need to apply the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit to your life, and not keep choosing to walk your own path (Rom. 12:1-2). Otherwise, ā€œThere is a way that seems right to a man, but its end leads to death.ā€ (Prov. 14:12) Death of our passion for God, death of our desire to live righteously, even in some cases death of the physical body when we make seriously bad choices.

This is the thing: if you know God, there’s no reason that you shouldn’t want to walk in His wisdom. The fear you have about the Lord is not based on how He sees you if you have accepted Christ as Savior. We are sanctified and justified in Him, and He is completely in love with us (I Cor. 6:11, Rom. 8:28-38). There is no fear in God’s love; in fact, His love actually drives fear away (I John 4:18). Having a biblical ā€œfearā€ of God is to understand, reverence, and respect Him for Who He is. When we are living in the ā€œfear of the Lord,ā€ we are acknowledging His greatness, power, and perfection, and we are submitting to His will for our lives. Ps. 111:10 says, ā€œThe fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, a good understanding have those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.ā€

lifepreserverI think you need to stop running and draw close to God (James 4:8). If you will allow yourself to really get to know Him, you will see more and more how great His mercy and love are for you. He will continue to be patient and gentle towards you, even if you take a lifetime to learn the lessons He’s trying to teach you (Ps. 18:35, 71:14, James 2:13) Don’t be prideful and think that you know better than He does. We have to trust His ways more than our own, because they really are perfect and proven, and He will protect us when we choose to live in His will (Ps. 18:30). God will always be faithful to us, even when we’re not faithful to Him (II Tim. 2:13). But His righteousness will not be mocked—it requires justice too (Prov. 2:7-8, Gal. 6:7). He can’t allow us to continue to live as false representations of Christ, so He lets us reap what we sowed, and He will discipline us if necessary (Prov. 3:11-12, Heb. 12:6). Believe me, I hope you are never in a position of the person described in Ps. 107:10-13, who had all their options taken away because they refused God and persisted in following their own sinful ways. Don’t go there; it’s a terrible place to be.

It’s not surprising that you’re feeling judgmental of others, because that’s what happens when we are in rebellion. We see the sins of others, and not our own (Matt. 7:1-5) On the contrary, when we are abiding in God’s love and forgiveness, we understand that we are no more worthy of grace than anyone else, and we feel pity and concern for those around us, especially the lost or rebellious. We need to love people, friends and enemies, because if Jesus died for each and everyone, who are we to judge them? And by loving others, we are being vessels of Christ’s love for them, and may help them draw close to the Lord as well. Remember, love ā€œbears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.ā€ (I Cor. 13:4-8a) Those are the true tests of our love for others. Move past what you see others doing, and ask the Lord to show you how you can meet their needs and serve them in love.

Don’t ever be ashamed of Christ or His gospel that has saved you from your sins (Rom 1:16). The other shame you don’t want to be a part of is the shame described in Prov. 3:35: ā€œThe wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools.ā€ You aren’t that fool—the one that says in her heart, ā€œThere is no God.ā€ (Ps. 14:1) You know God; you just need to know Him better. You want to show your love for Him, but you have to learn to obey Him also (I John 5:3). You need to get wisdom and understanding, so that you will stop having a wishy-washy faith (Prov. 4:5-7). The fear of the Lord will give you strong confidence and will give you everything you need for a victorious life (Prov. 8:11-21, 14:26, 19:23, 22:4).

I would strongly suggest that you spend the next 30 days reading a proverb a day from the book of Proverbs. You need to renew your mind and get a new revelation from the wisdom of God’s word. I would also recommend you read the book of I John. This book will help you understand what God’s love really looks like, and it will help you see the importance of walking in the light of obedience to God’s laws, as well as encourage you about the victory (past, present, and future) that you have in Christ Jesus. Pray for wisdom, and God will give it to you without judging you (James 1:5). Don’t put this off any longer. He is waiting to show you the riches of glory and mercy He has for you, His beloved daughter (Rom. 9:23). We love you, and He loves you infinitely more!

Love,

Beloved by Him
