avatarHi!
It’s my sister’s b-day soon and she wanted to watch that movie Avatar. I think it’s bad but I’m not really sure. I don’t want to poison my mind but I also don’t want to look like a spoil sport. So what do i do?

Trophy of Grace replies…

Colossians 2:8: “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.”

Please take a moment and review Plugged in Online-by Focus on the Family. It’s a site that provides a Christian prespective on all types of entertainment from movies, games, and music.  Pluggedin

Here’s a commentary & review of Avatar.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you make the right decision. He is our guide. Blessings to you in Christ name.

Sincerely,

Trophy of Grace

P.S.

Don’t worry about being a spoiled sport remember what Paul said to the Galatians, “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” - Galatians 1:10
