Healing A Broken Marriage-Love Never Fails

Written by Lisa C. aka Trophy of Grace

book-cover-jpegOne of our contributing writers and sisters in the Lord, Deborah Ross, recently published her first book. It’s called Healing a Broken Marriage: Love Never Fails.

I just finished reading it, and I am so inspired and encouraged. What an amazing story she has of God’s faithfulness to fulfill His promises! Despite the betrayal, anger, bitterness, and emotional stress that she experienced in her marriage, she stayed determined in her heart to serve the Lord and to see that His will be fulfilled in her marriage. She relentlessly stood on God’s promises, and opted not to give up on her unsaved husband and their family. She keeps pressing forward and laying down her life by the grace of God.

Healing a Broken Marriage: Love Never Fails is not only her testimony of how God took her broken marriage and breathed new life into it. The book also provides helpful teachings from the Word of God, offers challenging insights, and imparts faith to the reader. I love that throughout the book, she rejects what all the naysayers tried to speak into her life, and chooses instead to stand on what the Holy Spirit has spoken to her. She is living proof that God’s Word NEVER returns void. (Is. 55:10-11)

Her story is a testimony to the fact that all things are possible for those who truly believe. What God has done in her marriage He can do in anyone’s marriage. All we need to do is believe and refuse to give up.

I want to encourage anyone who reads this post to get this book for yourself or for anyone you know who may need encouragement in their marriage. After reading this book, I believe each of us would have to agree with God’s Word which says, “Love never fails.” (1 Corinthians 13:8)

I found this book to be very encouraging and uplifting. I found hope, encouragement, and a future in my own marriage and I feel this book confirms that no matter how bad it can get and no matter how hopeless it may seem, if you seek God and stand firm; God can make a way even when there seems to be no way.

  • Carole Lewis says:

I truly believe that the subject of Healing Marriages is one of the most important subjects in the church today. The strength of families lies in the love a husband and wife have for each other coming from God who is unconditional, unfailing and ever giving in His love! Families can have all the necessities of life, but without God’s love it will always have weaknesses and failings. If families have unconditional accepting love for one another they will be nurtured in “spirit and in truth” seeing their future destinies “secure and happy” because God’s love never fails!
