Hi. I think that any Christian can have there own opinion on everything. A lot of Christians think that if one person that they are close to, they are supposed to believe it to. I don’t think it should be like that. You should have your own religion no matter if you are an adult, kid, or teen. Especially teens, they think that they have to believe in everything that everybody else believes because they want to fit in. You should be able to fit in anywhere that you go and live your own life. A Christian teen should pick there own religion because they know what they want for a religion. Faith, Love, and Glory is so important in life. So just live your life just how god wants you to live it. He has a plan for you and you should live it.

My dear sister,

You are right when you say that God has a plan for our life and that we should live our life the way God wants us to. But in order to live our life how God wants us to we must spend time in His Word. His Word will teach us and give us the direction we need and show us how to live our lives pleasing to Him. (Jeremiah 29:11, 2 Timothy 3:16)

Unfortunately there are many teen Christians that are not rooted in the Word of God so they believe any foolish religion that someone teaches them. Also because of lack of knowledge of the Word many young believers are all over the place in their faith. They are more interested in pleasing people and the world instead of living to please God and living by the Word. They’d prefer to please their selfish desires rather than living their lives set apart for God.

My sister Christianity is not about a religion. It is about a relationship with the Creator of Heaven and Earth. It’s about living as children of light not of darkness. This means that we will not always fit in. People will not like us and we will be persecuted and talked about. But it’s all good because Jesus was persecuted, beaten, talked about, betrayed, and despised by the world too. We should not be surprised when it happens to us because we decide to stand for the Truth. We should not be about fitting in. We are to be different from the world. We are to be renewed and transformed people with a different way of thinking.

About Christians wanting everyone to think the same as them..

Well..true Christians desire to see others receive the same revelation that they received, especially those closest to them. The revelation is that we are all sinners in need of a Savior to save us from our sins and from hell. We long to see souls saved..that is why we want others to believe like we do. We long to teach others the Truth that we have found in God’s Word. It’s not about our opinions, it’s about the Word and salvation.
