WeUsed2BU ministries uses Facebook together with its blogsite (WeUsedtobeyou.com) to administer advice to girls and young women asking for help. Questions are answered by laywomen who are not licensed, certified, or professional counselors. Counselors provide advice based on the spiritual truths found in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. We believe that these truths are to be utilized for both spiritual and practical application, as described in II Timothy 3:16-17, which states, “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true, and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong, and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.”
Counselors are not medically trained, and make no claim to act or advise as such. WeUsed2bu ministries recommends that those in need of such services should consult a physician or professional healthcare provider, and that those in need of urgent care, intervention, or emergency services should go immediately to the closest emergency room or dial 911.
