Thanks for your words of encouragement, but I must say that this is only the beginning of what Jesus did for me. He delievered me from smoking cigarettes. I used to smoke sometimes more than 20 cigarettes because of how stressed I used to be. He delievered me from an unhealthy relationship with a young man who I was involved with who fathered my two beautiful children. Right now he is healing me emotionally from deep wounds from my past, from the poor choices I made as an adult. I was VERY promiscuous and now I am VERY celibate until the Lord sends me my husband. It’s a challenge at times, but through the grace and strength of the Lord I am strong in this area. (It’s a miracle indeed and I ain’t joking on that!) And the list continues…I have never been happier! Praise Jesus!

I am 29 years and I feel like I have been through experiences that only a lifetime could teach. From physically abusive relationships to an almost suicide, but JESUS…Wow! The change is immense! I look in the mirror today and I do not recognize myself. It’s a different person I look at. Everyday I growing more beautiful and stronger in the Lord. I love myself in Jesus more than I ever did without Him. Constant communion with Him daily is important. I need His presence. Without Him, I start to fade. My strength dwindles. I make dumb decisions. Need I say more? I need Him! Psalm 1 explains it.

Psalm 1
1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

I must add that finding this website is a Godsend!!! So many issues that I am dealing with, many other women on this forum face. I love your site. Keep posting inspirational articles. Advice you give to other women here I used for similar situations. Thanks and more thanks to you and the women here at Weused2bu for doing such a wonderful job on this site. I know you touch many lives through your testimonies and your divine understanding of things. I am truly blessed by you all and what your experiences has taught you. And even much more thanks to Jesus who works in all of us. Without Him we are nothing!
